Canc’d due to low enrollment – “Colorweave” with Lynn G. Keogh
Nov 18 @ 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

“Colorweave”

Create a clever “woven” design in vibrant, interactive color.  Combinations are based on one color selected from a fabulous wild, large scale or exotic print fabric.  This framework lets the interior colors play off each other, utilizing color wheel placement and value.  The finished top offers many possibilities for wonderful free-motion quilting.  (Appropriate for all levels)

“Quilting as a Design Element” with NBQA member Allison Wilbur
Mar 18 @ 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

(Half day workshop)

“Quilting as a Design Element”
This class complements the Quilting as a Design Element Lecture. Students bring quilt tops or patterns and we discuss design options to suit the use, style, and design of the quilt. This is a great guild activity and will help all levels of quilters including hand quilters. This is a design class and no sewing machines are required. The more quilts students bring in, the more samples we will have to talk about quilting!
